Before the stories dissolve

The stories worth keeping are the ones you haven't recorded yet.

HappySouls asks the questions nobody thinks to ask until it's too late. You press record, they talk, and the stories get kept.

Side A · The beginning
What this is

A guided interview. Not a journal.

Journals focus on today. HappySouls covers a whole life: childhood summers, the jobs that shaped you, the choices you'd make again and the ones you wouldn't. The AI asks, you talk, and nothing gets lost.

Sessions are short. They pick up where the last one left off. Over time you end up with something real: who someone actually was, in their own words, at their own pace.

How it works

Four things that make it different

An open diary with handwritten entries across multiple dates

It remembers everything

Every session builds on the last. The app tracks what has been covered, notices gaps, and finds the threads worth pulling. You never spend ten minutes figuring out where you left off.

Your voice stays yours

The audio is preserved exactly as spoken. Pauses, laughter, accent and all. Written summaries are clearly labeled as summaries. They are never presented as the real thing.

Something to hold at the end

Written chapters, a life timeline, voice highlights. Eventually, a printable book with spaces left for the photos only you have. Not a digital export. Something you would actually give someone.

Privacy is not optional here

Your family's stories do not train our models. No ads, no data sold. You can export or delete everything at any time, no hoops.

Side B · What you get
What comes out of it

More than a recording.

Most tools give you a file. HappySouls gives you a narrative shaped around the person, not the technology.

Written life chapters

First person, third person, or diary style. Your choice. Readable by someone who never met them.

Voice recordings and highlights

The moments worth keeping, surfaced and labeled. The rest stays archived and searchable.

A life timeline

Fills in as sessions progress. A quiet map of a life, built without anyone having to sit down and write one.

A printable book

With spaces for photos and margin notes. The kind of thing you pass around at a kitchen table, not a hard drive.
